Tapping into the the current trend of massive cell phone cases, we created a case that turns your smartphone into a replica walkie talkie from the hit Netflix series Stranger Things.

Over 250 units were 3D printed and distributed to high profile influencers,
the cast of the show, and the fans via a social media giveaway.

For those who weren’t able to snag a case, a mobile app was created to simulate the talkie. Fans were able to talk in real time with friends and interact with characters from the show. Over 50,000 minutes of talkie time was accomplished after launch.

To make the phone case fully functional we created a 3 channeled web-app
that worked like a real walkie talkie.

Erica Sinclair, the breakout star of season 3, guided all the nerds on channel one of how to use the app. Channel 2 is where you could talk to up to four friends on your own channel in real time using the push to talk button. The third channel featured sound bites from the show including season 3 special content.
